curt profile Pisanchyn Law Firm | Personal Injury Attorneys

Attorney Curt Parkins is a trial attorney at Pisanchyn Law Firm with a reputation built in the courtroom, not behind a desk.

He graduated cum laude from Boston University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and went on to earn his law degree with honors from Temple University Beasley School of Law. While at Temple, he focused heavily on Trial Advocacy, earning multiple merits and distinctions in the program. From the beginning, his goal was clear: become a courtroom lawyer.

Since returning to the Scranton area in 2011, Attorney Parkins has dedicated his career to litigation. He has tried more than 100 jury trials to verdict. That level of courtroom experience is rare and it matters. Insurance companies, prosecutors, and defense attorneys know who is willing to go to trial and who is not. Curt is.

Curt takes particular pride in his work in Federal Civil Rights cases. He believes the foundation of government is the people, and when the government violates the constitutional rights of its citizens, it must be held accountable. He has fought to hold police officers, prosecutors, municipalities, and government entities responsible when they overstep their authority and cause harm.

If you have been injured, charged, or wronged, Attorney Parkins approaches every case with intensity, preparation, and a willingness to take it to trial when necessary.

Local Roots in Northeastern Pennsylvania

Curt is a proud NEPA native. He grew up in Elmhurst and graduated from North Pocono High School. Giving back to the community that shaped him is important to him.

He devotes hundreds of hours each year as the Attorney Coach for North Pocono High School’s Mock Trial Team. Under his leadership, the team competes nationally and internationally, consistently placing at the top level of competition. In recent years, the team has finished in the top three in multiple international competitions and regularly takes first place in Pennsylvania invitational.

Outside of the courtroom and coaching, Curt enjoys spending time with his spouse and daughter. He is an avid reader, follows politics closely, enjoys traveling and cooking, and can occasionally be found unwinding with video games or a favorite television series.
