Joseph Dixon graduated from Vestal High School in Vestal, NY with honors. After high school, Joseph attended both Broome Community College, and Penn State University for a degree in computer science. After college, Joseph worked as a print room operator for a few years in a high volume photo lab in Vestal, NY. The job required precise measurement of both chemicals and settings on large production machines that produced large volumes of customer prints. It was here, early on, that Joseph learned the value of customer care.
After the invention of digital photography, chemically processed film started to become obsolete, so Joseph migrated to management in the retail pharmacy trade. It was there that Joseph learned about medical treatment, prescriptions drugs as treatments for illness as well as management procedures and operations. While at Thrift Drug, Eckerd Drug and Rite Aid for a career that spanned over 20 years, Joseph’s stores were consistently among the leaders in the district’s posting of sales, as well as charitable donations, which included the Children’s Miracle Network.
Subsequently, a position opened at the Pisanchyn Law Firm for a Trial Director Computer Specialist, which involves operating computer and video equipment during the trial process. With Joseph’s background in computers, he jumped at the chance. Since Trial Director only requires work at times of trial, Joseph has been trained at the firm for paralegal work as well. Joseph utilizes his extensive training in computers, management, medical knowledge and client care to round out a skill set that is uniquely suited to serve our clients, and obtaining the best possible outcome from less than desirable circumstances.
